I purchased this bed for my 2 year old. It's a nice bed and relatively well made. I would not recommend putting any more weight on it than is advertised (i.e. don't let an adult sit on it). I believe I paid around $60 for it which is really pretty inexpensive for a bed. You get what you pay for - a toddler bed that will probably last a couple years not an heirloom to be passed down. I found the instructions clear and it was easy to put together. However, one of the headboard pieces was defective (missing a necessary nut). I contacted Dream On Me to get a new piece. It took several emails but eventually they sent a replacement piece. Had the customer service been better I would probably rate it at 4 stars.

The bed nice and solidly constructed.
Came the next day after ordering..couldn't beleive it was here that soon.
Packed really well.
The only downside was the instructions for putting it together was not very specific.
But could not be more pleased with the end product for the price.

First off, this is a great bed for the little one. Our 2 1/2 yr old absolutely loves it. The old crib mattress fit the bed frame perfectly.

The only reason this got 4 stars and not 5 was the assembly. There were only 4 assembly steps and I was able to assemble it myself in about 35 minutes. Here's where the but comes in... The support slats across the frame are almost impossible to install the way the directions show you, they will keep falling out. I'd suggest assembling both sides to the headboard and foot-board and not fully tightening the bolts on the one cross bar that is bolted. Then lay the bed on one side and put all the cross bars in and tighten.

Overall, shipped super fast, packaging was done in a way that kept all parts adequately protected. Assembly was easy for one person, with the above recommendations.

And now I have one happy 2 1/2 year old.
